All our SIAM secrets


**SIAM Speaker Checklist**

  - Introductory Email to Speaker: "Are you interested in meeting with any faculty members?" Attempt to arrange if requested
  - Room Reservation (with Sarah)
  - Abstract on Department Website (with Sarah)
  - Advertising Emails (Week prior and day before). For undergrads: ucdmathclub@gmail.com Also consider stats, compsci, engineering, physics. Email appropriate secretaries. 
  - Day before email to speaker: Include detailed itinerary and parking information
  - Buy snacks if they will be provided
  - Day of: Delegate Social Responsibilities among members. Who will be available and doing what? Meet a day or two before to discuss the details of this.
  - Make dinner reservations: Sudwerks, Ket-mo, Devere's, Tres Hermanas, Symposium are decent suggestions.
  - Advertise dinner details to interested participants
  - Afterwards: Send Thank you Email!
